Hello,

I'm Angie Taylor... a wife, a mother of four beautiful children, and a quilter!

I grew up around sewing... my grandmother was a seamstress, and my mother was a casual sewer of clothing for myself and my brothers.  I started sewing at the age of twelve... and quilting was my favorite thing to do. I made cozies for everything in my mom's kitchen - the toaster, blender, teapot, etc - then onto pillow covers.  When I became a mother I started sewing dresses and pajamas for my daughters.  But, as my family grew I had less time to spend at my sewing machine.  Instead, I dabbled in other textile arts - macrame and crocheting - I craved the creativity of working with my hands to make art.  Unfortunately, arthritis set into my wrists and I had to give up on macrame and crocheting so, I turned back to my first love - sewing!  I made a quilt for my husband and I was hooked!  I have learned that not only do I like piecing quilt tops, but, I love designing of the quilt patterns for the quilts.
